Fresh Perspectives
Many of us are plagued by chronic inner thought patterns that cause us suffering. This is an opportunity to become aware of when our pernicious thought patterns are activated, to observe them, and track those thoughts all the way home to inner solace and peace. One way to do this is when you notice your mind beginning to suffer, spread your wings, take inner flight around the thoughts as a detached observer. Find fresh perspectives or other ways of perceiving that allow you to be the peaceful and loving being that you really are beyond that troubling thought or situation. You are peace. You are love. You are whole. You are complete. See if you can experience challenging thoughts as a passing cloud on this larger spaciousness of you. The invitation is to find three alternative ways of looking at the situation that do not cause suffering, and to choose one of those fresh perspectives instead of attention on the troubling thoughts.
