Joyful Acceptance

Joyful Acceptance
Imagine your life projected out of you on to a screen. See all the inner aspects and situations of your life that fill the screen. See how some aspects are just colors, feelings, or black and white, thoughts, and are still emerging. Notice that the picture of you is in a constant state of flux and transformation, and then of course there is the big you observing this picture of your life. Many of us fight with the screen that displays the picture of our lives. You can see what a tiring and fruitless endeavor that can be (might even destroy the screen or the earth over that one). When we argue with a screen, we also distort the picture flowing from our projector. Then we rebel against the distortions of the picture. This is an invitation to notice areas in your life where you argue with aspects of your life, and see if you can accept your picture no matter what it looks like currently. Remember life is always changing, enjoy the unknown and the perfection of your movie as it is right now. We are either allowing the change or resisting it. The more we resist the more distorted our picture becomes. Allow your true picture free of resistance to express itself in all it's glory. Observe, accept, enjoy your picture, and it will soon show itself to be a masterpiece of life bigger than anything you could have conceived as the small you arguing with a screen or the picture on the screen. Joyful acceptance a tool that keeps the projector running smoothly.
